Default What Could Go Wrong?

Ok, so i told my dad that i was going to take my cat off on the weekend and, he said that i was going to wreak the motor by doing this, Is this true? I dont think it is, b/c if it were then ppl wouldnt be doing it, So can taking off the cat couse any harm to my motor?

no, as long as you don't disconnect your O2 sensor it will be fine, just dont get caught by the cops

its true, my truck is running fine w/o a cat for idk how long, i bought it knowing that it needed a new cat, and decided that bc it stopped throwing a cel for it i wasnt going to spend the money until i needed to

i heard something but dont know if its true. cutting off the cat will dry out your valve seals or something like that. i heard that several years ago. ive been running without a cat on mine and no problems and cops dont do anything.[/align]

ya, were i live its Legal to run with or without a cat so thats not stoping me
