I will listen to a tape while driving and switch the truck off and come back the next day only to find that the deck has switched to side B. Any help will be much appreciated.

 

hit the side button again or eject it before turning it off.

 

i think you press the select(sel)button.

 

yea just pres the sel button and it will start playing the other way(side)

yes but some of us still use tapes, they dont make some of the albums that i like on cd so i need to use tapes, and im looking for the radio for these trucks that will play both cds and cassettes if anyone knows where i can get one, besides a junk yard, i have tried that already

 

you could get a stereo from a grand caravan, they play tapes and cds

 

yea i know its the same radio as mine, im looking for the square face chrysler tape deck cd radio unit,and they did make dakotas w/ them i just cannot find a working one thats for sale, my luck sux

 

it will be the same tape/CD deck thats in the caravan and dakota and probly every other dodge vehicle.
