Default intermittant stalling

I've got a 1991 Dakota 3.9L that just lately started intermittantly dying on me while driving down the road (highway speeds / in town, doesn't matter), sometimes it will come back to life by itself, other times & have to restart it, there's no ryme or reason for when it quits. I've retreived a code 1-1: no distributer input signal, 1-5: vehicle speed/distance circuit. When it does quit, it cranks longer to restart than usual. I replaced my ignition coil with another one I had, but still does it. Possible pickup coil in the distributer???? It runs like a top before it quits, & after I get it started again. No stumbling or running rough. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Default RE: intermittant stalling

I would go with the pick-up in the distributer.
