I just bought a 95 3.9 and it idles fine, runs at speed fine but when I hit theaccelerator it wants to die. Any help would be appreciated.

Shakey idle/hesitation-stumble on throttle tip-in? Sounds like the oil pump drive/distributor bushing could be worn. Look close at the gear & part of the shaft that mates to the bushing, while it's out- the earlier Magnum 3.9's had wear problems on those (theMopar replacement gears are hardened to prevent reoccurance), & would sometimes wear bad due to the bushing .
