I've decided to give up on advice fixing mine, and I sure as hell don't know how to rebuild one. So I need to buy one. And I need to have someone else put it in. Frankly I'm afraid of screwing up my tranny or my 4x4. Truck's a 95 Auto V6. Anyone know where I can score a transfer case for a decent price? Or how I can tell in a junkyard trasfer case is good or not?

how long do you plan on keeping your truck for?


if its only for a lil while longer then take your chances on a junk yard one.

if its gonna be for long time then I would buy a rebuilt one from a tranny shop and get them to install it and it should come witha warranty.
