I have a '94 v8 dak... That means it has the 46RH (A518) Transmission, right?

What should it cost to rebuid? I got a quote from a shop around here and it was $2300... Seemed like a bit much.

 

For a nice rebuild, with shift kit and all of that. I think I was quoted about 1500 when I wanted to pick one up. It ran me just under 1000 for my A500.

I'd say that's a rip, but I guess it could vary from state to state.

 

Where can you go and pick one up at? I'll install it myself, I just have no idea where to get one... But it is the 46RH, right?

 

A-518 is the 46RH. The easiest way to find an A-518 is if you have any friends into Mopars, ask them first. I called every junkyard in my state and they only had 1 and it was bad when I got it.

If you have a U-pull yard near you, I'd recommend checking that out.
