my 89 dak 4x4 home
i read a question on the forum a few months back " can a 1st gen dak haul a slide in camper "
oooh yah ! i dont leave home without it
add two leaves to each side of the rear springs, and the 10 inch rear sport brakes are a must. you wont even know its there.
there is an added bonus. the weight or the trailer lifts the front the dak about an inch, and even with two springs on each side you only gain an inch at the back with the trailer on. overall lift 1 inch. not bad for fishing.
dounside, the steering can be slow to respond with some of the weight off, a good set of heavy duty shocks will keep her feet firmly planted.
