Just wondering if anyone knew what it is I would have to do before I could fit 20' wheels on my gen I dakota. 3.9L, 2wd, regular cab, long bed. Thanks!
I don't even know if you could fit them on a 2wd without a ton of modification. Maybe a really small rubber band tire. Biggest I've seen on the older 2wd was 18s, 4wds was 20s.
Alright then. What would it take to fit 18's. Also, do you have any idea the sort of mods it might require to pull off 20's? And understanding of suspension and such is something i've just started to learn. Thanks!
The 18s should just bolt on, not sure on a good size tire to use without rubbing. As for the 20s, I think you'd have to do alot of chopping to get them not to rub on turns.
I was looking online for wheels for when I do find a truck. 18's were the largest that fit in the opening with 255/45's inthe front and 285/45's out back
