long tube headers?

Default long tube headers?

I would like to known who makes long tube headers for a 1994. I am putting a 340 and727 into a sleeper dakota

Hooker headers would probably work. It might get in the way of the kickdown though. Most people I know that've done a SB/BB swap have either used shorties or modified their own headers. I used shorties.

Hooker actually used to make a long tube header for these trucks. I had a set of them and they didnt fit real well.I still run across them at swap meets sometimes.I wish I could remember the part number.

On the stock 318's, do the shorties make any difference?

When I had a 318 it felt a little better with the shorty headers compared to stock manifold. Go for it!
