Hey Steve,
In1996 they converted over to the RE series transmissions, and before that of course, they had the RH's.
The 42REis behind my V6, the 46REbeing behind the V8.

Thanks, so it sounds like if I'm looking for a tranny for a jeep, it'd have to be a 46rh '93 to '95 dak. shouldnt be too hard since there are alot of them in the wrecking yards... there are alot of cheep GC's out there, most with tranny issuesand i'm looking to get one to convert into a dual purpose trail ride. just looking for the most cost effective way of fixing it.
