lowering a dakota????
i have searched high and low, and have come across nothing that sudjust i could buy a set of shackels for my dakota to drop the rear and get rid of the damnd wheel well gap. I thought about just using drop blocks, but i would pefere to do this the right way....
any ideas/links/anything ??

Nothing wrong with drop blocks. I have 3inches on mine. Just make sure you get the proper ones. Tough Aluminum. I've only ripped the nipple off one block from the torque, but it's still in there no problem.
Front end would be harder, I do think they make 2'inch drop spindles for it. Or, you could just put a bigger motor in it.

hmmm..... never seen belltech when searching..... My truck is a 95, i will have to give them a look, or i might just go with the drop blocks
and i was thinking about putting the 360 with either a super charger, or twin turbos

belltech has kits for 87-90 and 91-96 standard cab v8 only. 2"front 4" rear using a 2" spindle (p# 2605)and shackles and hangers (p# 6570), 4" front 4" rear add ing 2" coil to the other kit (p# 4761). p# 1317 is the complete 4-4 drop.
2 inch drop spindles for a V8 would work on a V6 truck the differnce is the springs and the amount of wieght they have to support.
