Default trans.line help please

hi guys just replaced my water pump and went to put everything back together again and found i was leaking trans. fluid from the rad. i had just put back it . . got to looking at it the little o ring in the i guess its a quick connect, the o ring is busted where do i find a new one please otherwise im stuck or any alt. to fixing the prob would help to thanks alot

Ya if the hose is ruber and its long enough just cut it and put it on the raid. connector and use a hose clamp. if it dont reach buy a new line from autozone or somewhere. make sure its aproved for tranny oil. the temps are hot and oil will leak through cheep hoses.

yea no way it would reach how much would another tranny line run . . .and how do you cut the metal line wihout bending it lol

They charge per foot. I think around $3 per foot. Use a pipe cuter. Thekind that you turn around the pipe and tighten as you turn. If you dont have one most auto stores will have it for $5-10. Make sure its small enough for your line. When you use it, it might leave some burs on it, clean it up the best you can.
