Is he trying to win some competitions with that getup or just wants to make one heck of an entrance?
Normally I drive around with the sub control at dead minimum.

Yes sir it was built to compete in lower levels, And for those who are curious it hit 152.7 @ 42hz which for 4 ts306's on a class A/B 4 channel BOSS (Cheap Junk) C800 amp, Is pretty damn amazing. But yes, the street-3 pioneer system is coming out for a complete power acoustik Advanced-2 no wall system, Will post new numbers around mid december...

And I totally agree that for a daily driver vehicle especially in the airspace of a truck cab, two smaller subs is PLENTY.

But a piece of advice, whatever you run, run two, even if it means running two 8"s or 10"s as opposed to one 12". Subs are most effecient in resonant pairs.

I agree completely! I have run one 12" and two 12"s and one 10" and two 10"s (every car Ive owned, havehad a system installed) The pairs of subs definitely produce a cleaner and more balanced sound. My personal preference is the 12"s (JL audio W3 V2's) I can hear a noticeable difference between 10's and 12's
