4wd to 2wd

Default 4wd to 2wd

has anyone ever put 2wd stuff under the front of a 4wd i know i could just take the front driveshaft out. would control arms bolt up or lots of work

why would you convert to 2wd? only reason 2wd gets better gas mileage is lower ground clearance and some weight loss. I dont know for sure but I imagine its a pretty big job. easiest way is to just remove the front driveshaft.

I converted mine from 2wd to 4wd. I know there is nothing that is the same besides the frame mounts. So if you can find a 2wd frame just swap them. Or just take out the front axle and you will have to leave half of the cv axles to hold the wheel hubs on. you can lower it to make it look like 2wd.

the reason i asked is because i have a 4wd that i got for cheap and want to build a fast street truck out of it.
