Default How to adjust the idle on 87 3.9?

I cant seem to find an idle adjustment screw on my carb anywhere. IS there one? Im too cheap to take it to a mechanic (im only 17 and I race quads so thats where my money goes). There is a vacuum line that comes out of the back of the carb and if i disconecct that it raises the idle, but once it shifts to third gear like that it has no power.

So anyway. How do I adjust the idle?

Thanks
Steve

Yes there is. The arm on side of the carb is held out with a screw. When you look at the front you see no head, theres just an indent. That is a protective cap. Pop it out with a screw driver, there is your screw head. Just ajust a little at a time, to much and the truck will move without you hitting the gas. I went to far the truck would go 15mph without hitting the gas.
