Greetings!
Hello everyone.
I'm the "new" owner of a 1993 Dakota Sport.
I've been checking out the forum, lots of great information here.
I love the truck, it runs great and has a nice sounding Flowmaster Exhaust on it.
When you get into the gas pedal, it roars very nicely.

Welcome! Nice truck!
Welcome! Nice truck!
I spent $600.00 for this truck and it runs very well.
I do have a question for you though-
I've following your reply(s) to all the lift kit questions out there. You're the man.
I'm confused and was wondering about a couple of things-
My 1993 Dakota Sport is 2wd V6 -
If I use a 2 inch lift kit- does the steering shaft and the transmission rod need to be lengthened?
For a 4 inch it makes sense to lengthen. I was unclear on 2 inches.
I'm really just looking to even things out. I'm not looking to off road.
Or would Coil Spacers be a better option for the front?
If the truck sat even with no rake- I'd be good. For now.

Thanks
Greg
Thanks! Alot of work went into it and still going! Well the kit is not made for 2wd but it still will work. For 2wd you will have to cut and weld in a spacer onto the steering shaft, and the tranny shift rod will have to be cut and weld in a spacer too but the kit includes the spacer. I would sudgest doing a spacers on the coil spings 2 on each. And For the rear to do a spring over axle conversion. I dont know if you seen this thread it has a link to get the good spring spacers. https://dodgeforum.com/m_1026671/tm.htm
Put the coil spacers and soa conversion along with the body lift will give you a good hight. Dont worry It wont look like your tring to be a offroader.
If you need more info let me know.
