Dakota Door Interchange
My brother in law has a Dakota with a bad door...the area around the bottom hinge has cracked and broken out so he can't open it anymore. The truck is an extended cab. I'll have to ask him again what yar it is ('93 or '96) but what years of doors interchange? Does it matter that his truck is an extended cab?
Thanks,
Derek

I belive any door from 91-up will work. I would think it doest matter if it is cc or single. Just make sure the one you get has the same options like power window and locks and mirors.
I'm pretty sure the door didnt change from 87 up to 96. the fenders are the same too.The core support and hood changed in 91 and oddly enough there were a couple of different rear window sizes(go figure) I removed one from an extended cab 92 and tried to put it in my step daughters 94 and it wouldnt fit.
Did the beds change from 87-96? At least as far as dimensions for mounting one. I've got an '87 that is pretty much 50% bondo from when I purchased it; also has all kinds of dents and what I suspect to be bullet holes. Was hoping to go to the junker and see if i couldn't find a bed from another truck to put on it.
