93 Dakota
I have a 93 Dakota with 180,000 miles on it. It will not start, I have changed the fuel pump, but did not help it. I figured out that i have no spark. I was told that would shut down the fuel. Was wondering if anyone had some suggestions since i have changed the pump and did not help.
disconnect the coil wire at the coil and turn it over. if you have a spark there then reconnect your coil wire and check for spark at the distibutor cap. (the other end of the same wire).
If you have spark there, check for spark at each of your plug wires.
*********IMPORTANT!!! DO NOT HOLD THE WIRE WHILE SOMEONE TURN THE ENGINE OVER. YOU WILL GET SHOCKED!!!**************************************** ***********

I read on here yesterday about a wire corrison problem under the large fuse box under the hood. I went home and guess what a wire was corrioded in two. I want to thank this forum it was a savior to me.
