Default emissions woes

Have a 96 2wd w/ 3.9
Looking for a way to trick the computer to thinking there is an 02 sensor which is missing along with the cat due to custom exhaust.
Check engine light is obviously on and I need to get rid of this to try to squeak thru emissions.
Any ideas??

Yeah I am probably gonna go that route at least the weld and 02 sensor.
I thought you coud place a certain resistor in place of the sensor to make it think the 02 sensor was there and functioning.

Also the cat is there it is just hollowed out with a straight tube thru the middle.

if you think you can get it thru the test just take the light bulb out that illuminates the check engine.

the resistor trick only works in select instances, unfortunately this isn't one of those instances

I agree but you need to make sure you know your truck real well cause you wont be able to rely on the light to tell you something is wrong
