Default 1992 dakota wont start

My dad's dakota '92 V6, wont start. The lights wont even come on. We have tried boosting it off, even though we just bought the battery 6 months ago. It has been setting in our yard for about 2 months. It worked before and now wont start. I have cleaned the terminals off too. When you turn the key you get nothing, also none of the lights are working. Any ideas on whats going on? Thanks.

sometimes when the battery's are stone dead u cant boost them... try pulling a battery from another vehical and putting it in the truck to start it.

if your battery is bad power will not go through even with a jump. daksport is probably right, try a different battery first. if that does not work, check that darn wiring in the boxattached to the drivers side fender. it's in theFAQ in this forum, it tells you everything you need to know.
