air cleaner

Default air cleaner

anyone know were i can buy a new air cleaner for my 96 dakota 3.9L i just bought a edlebrok CIA but i has a little gap in it and i lost the head the factory air cleaner so i need to buy a new one

Or any air cleaner set up should work from any magnum engine.

well i have one of those its an edelbrock i just need to get a spacer for it cuase its hitting a hose and makeing th eintake have lift a tiny bit to have the engine exposed, or is there anyway i can take the screw of were the intake goes and put a CAI from a 97-99 dakota

i measured my throttle body a while ago and i think it it the same as a 4 barrel carb, you may want to double check though...

i though it was getting stuck on the hose but i found out its getting stuck on a little bolt

some told me to get a spacer and a bigger bolt for it but im not sure what spacer to get if some one could post a link of the spacer for this

Ya a throttle body spacer would work for you. They dont add power like the clam but for you it is perfect to space it. Or get a smaller diamater air filter. or if you canmake a small dent in yours to clear the bolt.
