I want to open up the exhaust a little....any suggestions....bear in mind i am a State Employee...hahaha...so price matters....thanks

 

Swap the stock muffler for a 20long(14inch case) Magnaflow oval muffler. 63 bucks on SummitRacing and if you need a shop to put it on, about 50 bucks more.


Did this on my Durango, flows nicer and has a good tone.

Thanks...i did have a nissan maxima with a magnaflow in it....made it sound better...i bet with a v8 it will sound better....

Here's a sound clip on the 4.7.

I dropped the camera and it landed under the exhaust, but you can get a idea.

I revved it to about 1500rpm.
