gotcha... alright thanx every1 for your help. couple more questions. what kit did u guys get? and how do u do it? i know u have to take off the old u bolts and stuff but do i need shocks? i heard some1 say something about lift keys... arent those the things u crank to crank the torsion bars? would lift keys be easy to put on? thanx

I think the 2-3in blocks will be okay with stock shocks. Yes you can get lift keys. There cheep and easy to install.

alright well i gotta get new rear shocks anyway so should i try to find some like 3in longer than stock? do they make lift keys for 1 gen dakotas?
