idler pulley substitute for air pump

Default idler pulley substitute for air pump

I have a 91 dakota 5.2L and was wondering were i can get a idler pulley substitute bracket to replace the air pump with. Yes i know emmisions laws and that stuff, my risk not yours. I just want to know were i can get one, or even if they make them......

I have thought about doing same but wont the computer detect it and may cause problems?

I dont think 91 is new enough to cause any problems. I was looking and couldnt even find any wires going to the air pump, i seen what looked like a vacum line going to it but thats all. Its was also -25 with like -32 windchill today so i didnt spent a lot of time outside.

air pump? r u talkin about the smog pump? it should have a seperate belt... just take it off, i did lol

remove the belt and plug the vacuum line.

it doesnt run off a seperate belt... runs off one belt running the ac, alternator, smog pump like that
