Default replacing my 89 engine with a 94...

My engine blew, so i found another dakota, its a 94, 3.9 and it even has power steering woot! problem is, i dont have my chilton's guide with me, and i dont know if when switch these engines and transmissions that i will have a wiring problem or not? does anybody know if all the wiring will just match up or not? Im going to end up getting the whole wrecked truck, has a plastic bed lineri want and a topper...the wrecked truck has 130,000 miles on it, mine did have 67,000 original miles on it. Bought it from an old man who used it for his fishing trips...dont suppose he fished much. but any help will be wonderful. You guys are pretty smart on here, and i will take your word for it!

Does your 89 have a carburetor? The 94 has fuel injection so the wiring harness will be completely different. You may be better off pulling your ening and having it rebuilt or finding a rebuilt exchange if your old block isn't cracked.

yes its carb, rebuilt exchange cost alot of money, having it rebuitl would cost more than this 94 truck that im pulling the engine out of. reason i want to go with this particular truck, it also has a topper, drop in bedliner, a side view mirror thta i need. being that it is fuel injection, the wires for the motor should be on itself right? i will be able to even take the brain box, and transmission. Everything that i need is on the truck, well what isnt broken that is. they hit a deer... the front grill is not there, radiator is against the fan... i can get the whole truck for $550 how hard would it be to change the wiring too?(if needed) the chasis wiring seems to look like that match up pretty well...im noexpert, but i can rewire anything that needs to berewired, being an electronic tech, i could probably rig it up right. if it goes like you say, it wontbe worth redoing. i'd rather sell the truck first.

Again i apologize on the image size, only doing it this big for clairty. I cant read size 2 font drawings and dont expect anybody else to! so here are nice size pictures, now all i need to know is more information about replacing that carb motor with the fuel injector. Come on guys, put your thinking caps on, youve helped in the past, i know you can do it again!

How hard would it be to fix the damage on the 94? I'd probably sell the 89 and use that money to fix the damage on the 94...130,000 miles on a Magnum isn't that bad. To me, replacing the damaged body parts would be easier that swapping all the engine, tranny and wiring harness.
