Default Fan Blower does not work

The first thing i did was check the fuses and they are all good. Then i directly put voltage to the fan that works. Then i checked the resistance block that is mounted by 2 screws on the fire wall and that appears to be good. But i stilldo not have voltage that gets to the fan. Does anyone have any other ideas?

it may still be the resistor block, just because they look good doesn't always mean they are, I learned that the hard way. Either that or you have a broken wire somewhere

If you're sure it's not the resistor block, then the only thing left is the wiring itself, and the fan switch. I just went thru the same deal myself...except I didn't test my blower motor until after I had the dash apart. Just as I was ready to pull the motor, I tested it and it was good. Then I bought a new resistor block and that wasn't the problem either. After that, I replaced the fan control switch (not the whole temp control unit, just the fan switch) and that fixed the problem. I was lucky enough to find one on Ebay; otherwise they're about $70 from the dealer.

I went round and round with my blower motor. I was getting 12 volts with a meter and lighting a test light and the ground was good. The fuse looked good and was letting power through but not enough amps to run the fan. The fuse was the first thing I checked, power in and out, continuity good. Then it was testing this, overlaying that and I still could not get the original circuit to work. I finally replaced the fuse and the damn thing worked. Talk about feeling stupid.
