how did the tails install?
and where did you get them
i got my sister a set, and theres a problem, i don't know exactly what. as she lives in detriot and i in cleveland

 

CB's can be powered from any 12 or 13 volt powersource. So yes you can power it from the cigarette lighter but you will get better power outputt if youwire it straight to the battery with an inline fuse.



The grill insert came from ebay. It was very inexpensive. Its not a brand name. but it deffinately looks good after a little work. Its a wire mesh precut to fit the truck and the wire for mounting it. I didn't have to trim the inserts but i did make them look more 3D after working the edeges under. It takes a little work but looks really good.

nice tails. I'm still lookin for the smoked version. cant find them anywhere... and my 90 has a sunroof too. these trucks look soo good with them.

i got the dakota ones,
they fit, but apparently the bulb sockets are in so that you can't get the bulb in right

 

The lenses aren't of a really high quality. they look nice but the socket on the driver side is off a little and needs a little work. But being the only ones i have found, It's worth the trouble. You can buy these lenses and get the smoked lens covers to go over them.

 

where did you get the chrome around the dash that replaces the wood grain

 

The taillights that Batman got me are made in the area that you put the socket in the back of the assembly. The plastic piece you place the socket into is backwards and so you can't put the socket in. I'm goint to end up cutting a new piece from plexiglass and replacing the messed up part with that. I just don't have the time to do it right now. I was just SO excited to get the clear tails and they don't work right....

 

I bought my tailson ebay... I have the right sockets. Iv seen in some places that there the same case but if you read close in some of the tails for sale they dont fit the dakotas.

 

I dont reccomend this company I bought mine from. BD Trims. I took my bezel out of the truck
to install the trim but the trim wouldnt match up. I managed to make it look fine by taking
black chrome graphics and blending it into the odd places. They were on sale on EBay. I know why now lol.
