Default missing connectors

Hi all,
I was working under the hood today and I noticed that there was a connector that wasn't connected to anything. I have no idea what it's supposed to be connected to, if anything. Can anyone tell me what it is and what it's supposed to connect? This is located on the passenger side.

Also, I noticed that there seems to be another connector missing. It is mounted on the passenger side firewall. Could this be the reason thatone of my blower speeds doesn't work?

Any help you can give me is appreciated. Thanks.

one of those connectors is for a computer to be connected to the PCM, the other connector might be related to the blower, not sure without seeing it and I can't think of what else is under there without going to my truck.I'll have to take a look next time I'm out and see what other possibilities there are.

Thanks for the reply codydakota, The pics should be working now (That is one goofy pic posting system).

I should mention that the truck runs and drives fine without these connections, except for the misfiring problem I mentioned in my other posts.

Picture number one is called a "blower motor resistor block" dodge part name. It does contrill your blower speed.
I replaced mine and it worked for a few days then quit again.
So I just ran a wire and 40 amp switch.
I have something between my dash and that block that keeps blowing it. I've had my dash apart and still couldn't find it.

Ok. The first picture, where it would appear the connector is too short (and missing two wires), thats how it is on my truck (and all my speeds work). That is the connector for the blower motor resistor. If one, or more, of the speeds don't work, it's probably the resistor pack. Simply remove the two bolts holding it in and replace it.

The second one, located near the passengers side firewall/fender, is not supposed to be conneted to anything. This is "for plant use only." Basically, its tied into the OBD system.

Thanks everyone,
So in the first pic there are supposed to be only 2 plugs connected to the blower motor resistorblock?
