IAT resistor
Hey,
I have1995 Dakota.
Im planning on doing the IAT sensor resistor mod.
I know how...but I'm not quite sure where the sensor is.
I know its connected to the intake manifold but I dont know where on the manifold it is.
Can anyone help?
There should be a picture attached that shows whatI think the plug is but again Im not sure.

RE: IAT resistor
There is two different ways of doing this? The Writeup on v8performance.com doesnt help me very much. What are my other options other than drilling and moving? Can you give me some good details?
If i do this, the gauge will still read the accurate tempurate, but the computer is tricked?

RE: IAT resistor
There is the movieng write up as well as the resitor one. on the v8site.It is under 20HP Timing Advance Kit - eBay (WARNING)20HP Timing Advance Kit - eBay (WARNING)
This post is about IAT sensor. we dont have a guage for this. But you can do this same trick for the coolent sensor. We have 2 coolnent sensors. one for the guage and one for the comp. You do the comp. one.
You dont have to drill. to move it, You can just byanother sensor and just let it hang out and that will be cooler than the temp inside the engine.
