Default Long Tube headers

Anyone know if ones off of a ram will fit? I would really rather have long tubes than shorties, but i have not been able to find any for the dakota. How was the power increse for you guys that have shorties?

There's a very slight different in power gains from long tube and shorties. The only long tubes installed I have seen have had to had the engine bay modified to fit them. My shorties barely fit as it is.

IMO there is no room for the long tubes underneath and will probably cause issues, unless you want to modify your engine bay, I say get some shorties.

yea. i was bolting the manifolds up to my 318 and realized i would have to take the headers off to change the oil with long tubes! How were the power gains with the shorties?

Couldn't tell you, never had manifolds on the 360.
