Default Cluster Lights

has anyone changed the color of the gauge cluster lights? I have been wondering if it could be done on these, i really dont like the green ones, i want to swich them to red like everything else in my truck. i dont know if it is a film or just a cover that makes them green? My moms jeep had white lights in it so i put some blue L.E.D.s in there and it looked awesome. just dont know how to get rid of the green on these.....

The green is "implanted" in the black plastic covering. If you take out the cluster, it uses plain white bulbs.
I agree, it would be nice to change the color. Unfortunatly, doesn't appear to be much, or anything, aftermarket for our gauges.

If I remember correctly, the green pieces on the back of the cluster(each gauge) can come off and the bulbs can be replaced to whatever. However, those bulbs are one of the hardest little buggers to remove. Have to be careful, they will break easy.

Or instead of changing the bulb color, you can get gels from a stage lighting supplier and use them in place of the green. Gives you just about any color you want for your gauges, even a multicolor combo setup. Haven't done it to the Dak (yet), but did have them on my '81 280ZX.

I believe the 125 speedo's are only a mechanical and not an electrical one. At least the one I bought it, and that's the reason I bought it.
