Default throttle body spacer

i have seen alot of TB spacers for these trucks and they claim to give you 22hp and25 ft.lbs. of torque i put one on my cousins ram that had a 360 in it but there wasn't much of a difference, but i was wondering if any one has put one on there dakota, also how well do they really work.....(mine is a 3.9)

they are pretty much worthless. all they really do is give your engine a little whine when hit the throttle. POS

its true the TB spacer does nothing but puting the Holly V8 TB on your truck is real easy and it actually does give you some power and a little better mpg. Just make sure that you get one with the same linkages for the kick down cable and throttle, it will save you a lot of hassle. At the junk yard you can get them cheap and its worth the money. Hope that helps a little.

YOu'RE THE PHUCKER THAT I BOUGHT THAT FROM![:@]hahaha, just messing man.

Yeah them spacers are junk, good paperweight, but for performance, JUNK! I heard that besides being a good paperweight, if you strap one to your ****, you can make neat whistling sounds, haha

Have dyno tested TB spacers, and they add absolutely NO hp or torque gains. Never tested the claims of mpg increases, but if two out of three claims turn out to be a lie why even bother with testing the third.
