Default Fire wall wire plug replacement

Does anybody know where I can purchase the main wiring plug that goes thru the fire wall on a 93 Dakota. Mine has multiple shorts due to corrosion. Also the plug for vehicle lights switch the one next to the instrument cluster

Well I have good news and bad news. bad news the only place the sells the plug and terminals is the dealer but the catch I have to buy the whole harness. So I got one out of the junk yard that was in almost new shape lotsa of soldering later took care of all the shorts. Question I should have asked the first post has anyone else that owns a 93 had this problem with the windshield washer fluid dripping down and corroding the terminals in the firewall plug? Here is a pic of the old plug you can see the green corrosion preoducts at the top of the plug it was so bad the corrosion was traveling up the wires about 12 inches. Today is the fun part putting everything back together[sm=insomnia.gif]

Maybethose ofus with wiring problems who need help troubeshootingshould check that box. I know quite a few people post about wiring problemsand maybe this is the culpret more than we think! Especially those with unknown "bugs" with their wiring. It may not just be washer fluid getting in there. It is corosive but so is road salt and now they use a liguid compound that can get up around the seals. Just a Thought.

Well folks this did not fix the problem its the SBEC it has and internal short in it that is sending 12 volts to the body [sm=bomb.gif]but it only does it every now and then sometimes it only sends 5-11 volts out. And boy did run awful its 243 duckets for a newSBEC at the dealer. Tomorrow I am going back to junkyard and see if any of fuel injected Daks still have the 'puters in them it's worth a shot[sm=smiley5.gif].I let you know what happens tomorrow. One nice thing is that all my connections got some di-electric grease in them to prevent corrosion.
