Default Question about SMEC and SBEC 2

Question is the SMEC Single Module Engine Controller For TBI and the Single Board Engine Controller 2 for MPI interchangable? The newest Dak I have found in the junkyard has TBI and no MPI's.

No, and let me explain why:
They Magnum motors use injectors for each cylinder. The pre-Magnum motors use just two injectors (for the V-6/V-8) or one injector (I-4), which are mounted on the throttle body. Of course, they are controlled by the computer.
