CB antennas mounted!
i decided to go with a VHF. im gonna get it within the next 2 weeks (depending on money situtation). i dont see anything wrong with having a VHF in your truck if you want either.
Good job. I want to get a two whip setup. Ive had mine for a while now and I love it. There is alot of cb traffic around here and almost anyone is willing to keyup and chit chat. All I have left to do is run the wires through conduit and mount the noise limiter. Now that it is in and works, Ive been putting off finishing it. I don't much aout vhf but eventually all our airwaves will be digital, except cb, just like the tv's did. If vhf will be effected they will charge you for a lisence to operate on a specific bandwidth anyway.

VHF is mostly boaters...i work at a marina and i have a couple jetskis i go fishin on alot and i would like to get a fishin report and hear how the water is sometimes, i believe it will come in handy. if the airwaves became digital and you needed a license to operate a VHF, there will be alot of unhappy boaters, lol.
