Hey, what are you going to be in the AF?
I know about losing the shop (same story here). But, eventually you'll make it up the ranks, get a little bit of money, and you'll be able to find a house and build your own shop. Right now I'm at the very beginning of those stages [&o].

this is kinda off thread but whatever, Metals Technology Apprentince. im thinking of doing 6 years, i really like the idea of getting E-3 before 2008 ends.

It is OT.. but I'm ok with it, lol.
Hmm... Metals Tech huh? Yea, some of our guys keep 'em busy with stuck screws and what not, although I'm not familiar with other aspects of their job, just what I use them for, haha.
I'm a 6 yearer too, almost half-way through, but I don't mind it. It's not a bad gig, especally if your just looking for a job straight out of HS. You also put on E-4 sooner than 4 yearers too, that is, unless you screw up like a few people I know...

haha, yeah it also has to do with welding and machining.

where are you stationed at?
