I recently brought a 1991 Dakota, however the A/C does not work, and I was told it will have to be converted to the new Freon, is this true? Thanks for your help
It does have to be converted. It was around 94 or 95 that 134a was introduced. The r12 is no longer used. Autozone sells kits to convert it over. Around 30 or so. Just a few adabters and install the freeon. Easy.
