There are 4 total, 2 front and 2 back, if I remember right the 2 fronts are 5 1/4" and the 2 backs are 5" x 7". You have to pull the door molding to get to the front ones. All you have to do to get to the rear ones is pop the covers (vents) off. Good luck, hope this helps

i have an adapter on mine and each wire is labeled in very small print on the side of the wire on the adapter. I had to get into the sun light to be able to read it. Also for some reason my 90 has 4 rear speaker wires and 2 front speaker wires.

i replaced my 5 1/4 door speakers with 6 1/2, and the rear 5x7 with 6x9. had a little bit of cutting but they sound awesome and no problems either.

Ya thats what I did too. Upgraded the sizes. I also installed another speaker behind the vent that is not used on the door.

i upgaded my sizes too and put a 10 inch sub in the back. sounds really good in that small of a cab and not so loud it vibrates the truck apart!

Do you have pictures of the install, i'm thinking of putting 6-1/2 in my dakota's front doors but i might go with 5-1/4 components front & 5x7 2-way coaxial rear.

i just trimmed the metal with aviation snips. cut a little then test fit, repeat. you will have to drill new mounting holes. i also put dynamat on the inside of the door--behind where the magnet would be
