Default trannny question

hi i have a 93 dak 4x4 with the 318 and just recently my trannny started to slip when i would be taking off from a dead stop or when i would be driving it just started happing if anyone has any suggestions on wat could be happing let me know thanks

ive heard about someone putting a lucas transmission fluid (not like atf+4, like a treatment) which stopped it from slipping..but that seems like only a temperary fix.

Make sure your fluid level is right where it should be and make definite sure you aren't losing trans fluid thru a line or something, I had that same problem withmy '92, I found the leak as I was topping off the fluid, in one end and out the other faster than S--- thru a goose, if that's not the case, try changing the trans filter and fluid (obviously), and if that still don't work, then you probably have some bad news on your hands. That Lucas oil stuff would most likely cure the slippage, but bottles don't make very good mechanics, so the results would only last a short time as mentioned above /\.
