I am getting 13 mpg and all my electronics in the car is all screwed up i want to get rid of the stock carb and put a regular carb in i dont trust the carb/fuel injector crap.

I have no idea what carb to get i use to the truck to transport a welder and tools im looking something thats good on fuel any help would be appreciated

i dont know what bolt pattern the one i have should be 2 barrel right so do i get a 2 or a 4? electric choke or manual?

 

these trucks do not have carbureators...it is a throttle body. if you have a magnum engine (1992+) then all it does is meter the air, and before that it is tbi which uses2 fuel injectors instead of one per cylinder. need some more info on your truck (year and engine size)to tell you, but it is not as easy as pull the throttle body off and putcarb on either way...

 

Is not that you dont trust it, you just dont understand it and you are afraid of it.

And just for your info you will get much worst MPG with a carb.

I have a 1995 Dakota with a 5.2 magnum and it has 8 injectors ...lol...&nbsp\\; I thought GM throttle bodies was the only kind that carried 2 injectors

 

If by tb gasketkit you mean just the tb gasket, you can get them at your Dodge dealer for about $5.50
