stalling issue w/ codes 11 and 12
I have a 92 Dakota 4x4 ext cab (318) recently i had some issues with accelerating at higher rpms, but after installing a new distributor cap, fuel filter, and crank shaft sensor, it seems to have gone away. At first i though it to be a fuel pump issue, so i checked the fuel pressure at the valve on the fuel rail, and i get about 30-32 psi (ive read it should be about 36-45psi) but the engine seemed to idle and rev just fine whilst not moving (in the driveway). A few nights ago i decided to take it out and right after it started warming up it stalled, it wouldnt start at first, but aftr a few tries it started and then i got it home. Just today, whilst still cold (probably wet too, only a day or two of sun in the last few weeks here) and it stalled only a block from home, and wouldnt start right away, but after a half hour i got it started and back to my driveway. Both times i got error codes 12 and 11. I have a new 02 sensor but i havent been able to get the old one off, there doesnt seem to be very much room to get a longer wrench and maybe a breaker bar under the truck, any suggestions?
And regarding the error 11, I read that its a crank sensor signal issue, but i just replaced that, does that mean it could be a wiring issue or a computer problem? I also through some reading saw it could be a map sensor issue, or maybe the ignition coil (i also read somewhere here that 11 could mean the distributor isnt getting power, thus the coil is bad)
Help is appreciated, and through reading of some other threads and found them to be very informative, just no solution yet.
Oh yes, and i checked all of the wiring i could, and i also only hae about a 1/4th tank of gas.
