fuel tank
So i dropped the fuel tank, pulled fuel pump and cleaned all the screensand have it back up. Tried tofire it up and endlessly failed. All wires are hooked up correctly. Any suggestions as to wht I might need to do? Do I need to bleed the lines?
have you checked fueses. and have you make sure your fuel pump is working. have someone go turn the key off and on and see if you hear the pump. it may be possible a wire came loose inside the seding unit when you took it out.
Pump is working also installed a secondary faucet pump as well as existing pump, it still will not crank over. All wires are in tact and the fuses are okay. Do I need to bleed the fuel lines, somehow?????????? Not getting fuel to the top[:@] Please someone help!!!!!!!
HELP!!! Since I was dumb enough to drop the tank, which I did prior to your suggestion, what do you know that can helpme. PLEASE, HELP!! I amreally at my wits end and ready ready to beat the truck with a bar.
Have you done anything that myself or the other members here have suggested? Like #1 to get a manual so you can troubleshoot each component? It seems like your not trying anything suggested and just getting pissed off at the truck , which is just going to make it harder for you.

If the pump is working but not pushing gas could only mean you have the IN and OUT lines mixed up at the fuel pump or the fuel filter?
So first thing is to confirm the pump is in fact pushing the gas.
Discalimer: Since you're working with gas and electricity nearby please use the procedure below at your own risk!!
Do work in an open area away from water heaters, furnace, electricity etc. One way is to pull the fuel pump relay fuse and crank, this will relieve the pressure from the lines. Reconnect the relay, disconnect the line coming out of the fuel filter and going towards the engine. Then connect a hose to the fuel filter and aim it into a gas safe can (take precautions such as making sure if you use the plastic can there's no static electricity, put it on the ground and not up in the air etc). Now turn the ignition on (don't crank). The fuel pump should run and deliver gas into the gasoline safe can.
