My dakota has been having some tranny issues, its shifts fine when it is cold but once it warms up in DRIVE when you come to a stop it will not shift down as it should when you slow to a stop. I changed the filter and the and the fluid, but that did not do the trick. But, if you shift it through the gears manually it works well also if you go from drive to nuetral to drive while stopped it will shift through the gears as it should also. i would appreciate any help with this issue.

I'm not sure, do these have a solenoid for the Torque Converter? My '92 Sundance did and that caused this same exact problem for me.

 

I actually replaced that today and did no good.
