I have a torsion bar lift, which is about 2.5 inches, and i was told i could clear 305, but they might rub on sharp turns. the torsion bar lift is good and cheap, but it wears your tires out quicker, trust me. depending on your truck, it might be better to go on and spend the extra money to get a leveling kit, it will ride smoother, save your tires, and look better. if your interested, i've been researhing on getting one
My '95 is completely stock (besides the exhaust and intake), and i'm running 31x10.5's on it. I get very minimal rubbing at full lock on the inside only. I haven't, nor has anyone torqued up on the torsion bars. 31's will work on stock daks
