Default Rims, Tires

Please excuse my truck ignorance. I'm more into f-bodies then trucks.
I just got a 1988 Dakota, V6, 4x4 for free from a neighbor. Car has been sitting for around 7 years, ever since the brake line blew out on the original owner. I'm fixing it up trying to get it back on the road.(3 brake lines replaced, those are a pain.)
I'm looking for rims for the truck because the stock ones are rusted to hell. I know the bolt pattern is 5x4.5. With this knowledge, THESE rims should fit? I'm more worried about backspacing and caliper clearance.
Since the stock rims are 15s, and those of 16, I should have to step the aspect ratio down 10%, correct. So if my current tires are 235/75/15 (will have to double check that tomorrow), the new tires should be 235/65/16. Correct?
Again, please excuse my ignorance. I didn't find what I was looking for in a search, and I'm kinda new and never dealt with truck rims and tires before.
Thank You

Alright another F-body guy! I have a 82 TA (Drag Strip only)

The 235/75/15 will make 22.6in tall
The 235/65/16 will make 28in tall
If you change your rim size you dont have to change tire size, unless you want to.
Here is calcluator that you can type in sizes and see what the total will be.

The backspaceing is what might get in the way. Im not sure but I belive stock is around 3.25in that wheel is 4in. So it would stick out a little more than stock. and it is 7in wide. stock is 6in. So you might end up with around stock. Go to any tire store. Pretend to buy some of theres and see what they say about the backspacing.
