sorry if i have left you guys hanging these last few weeks. i got the 9.25 all in the truck and the posi works great!!! it was not too ard of a swap at all. i am getting a vibration between 45 and 55 and have narrowed it down the the driveshaft angle being to steep from the lower pinion. it is at 6 degrees and the factory service manual says it should be at 3. i have replaced the carrier bearing and the u joints are tight so this is pretty much all it could be i think. but i have just recently got a new toy so the dakota has not been getting the attention it deserves. found an 87 samurai thats runs with a good body for $500!!! so i have been trying to get some shims to change the pinion angle but no luck yet summit sells a kit for 80 dollars nd dont have just a single 3 degree shim. so dont know what i want to do. napa can get them but the have to "freight" them to the store for an extra 15 dollars! but thats what has been going on, any ideas on changing the angle let me know, i will post some pics of the install and stuff soon so you guy can see.

here is the zuki

hey guys i had a 82 suk L J 80 for 2 years, look that one up on the net, smaller than bads with 4.10 gears, canvas doors and top. it was basically a 4 wheeler with 15 inch wheels, 800 cc engine, that was legal for the road. the best part was the the rod that clicked in a crossed the door to hold you in like a ride at the fair. ya gotta check it out.

p.s. hope thats not a florida gators plate on the front

Nice ride. Those things can be beaten to death and still live.

I'm Canadian and even I know that was a good move.

I'm not sure what your gear ratio is for your SUZ. But If you can find an LJ-80 for parts they all have the 4.10 ratio gears. To change them it only takes a couple of hours. Unbolt the outside of the axles, pull them out about 2 inches. Unbolt the driveshaft, then unbolt the carrier and pull it out. Replace it with the LJ-80 carrier, then reconnect your driveshaft, push your axles back in and bolt them up. The front and rear are the same.

The axles, bearings, housings and everything else is compatible between the two. You will lose top end speed but it will climb a banana tree.

steelers for the superbowl !!!!!! don't even bother with that Jacksonville, tampa bay crap. don't take it the wrong way dude i love you guys on this forum, you've been a big help.

i do hope that the rays win the world series!
