hi i have a 90 dakota 3.9 with the older holly 2 barrel throttle body, will a 84 318 out of dodge ram drop in my truck and bolt up to my trans, also would a magnum intake fit on the 84 318

 

the older 318 had different mounts(mounts bolt on the front of the engine) and the heads are different on the older LA blocks. you can put the magnum heads on there but the valve geometry will be kind of funny. you could probably build mounts pretty easy and just do a carb setup. just my .02. go to allpar.com for more info
