I would love to see pics of that Black and Orange one that looks sick i think thats the TA one he was talking about...... the air intake is stock modified by welding another in let on. if you look closely you can see the welds which have been beaded nicely.

So you know the paint chipping off your truck isnt called orange peel. thats when you have paint but it was shot on and not sanded properly afterwards thus giving the same effect as an orange peel... it is a nice truck though.
Oh ok, well the paint peeled off in many places, especially the hood and the top of the cab. Starting to rust, had to fix it quick. I guess its a known problem with the first gen dakotas? Thing runs like a champ though.
lol yeah its a problem. I am currently in the proccess of sanding mine down. I had it every where on my truck but the hood in which was repainted at somepoint but not sanded properly.
Im new to this forum and I wish I would've found it when I first picked up my Dakota. Maybe then it wouldn't be so rough. I will post some pics of my rust bucket soon. I just wanted to say hello.
