Roll call! Post up Pics!!!
First post- been on here a while, the amount of information and helpful people on here is amazing. Love my '95, had it just over a year, but just found out we have a kid on the way, and not real sure about getting a car seat in the back. You guys have any words of wisdom? I'm considering selling to get something with 4 doors...

1989 Dodge Dakota Convertible 4x4 V6 Automatic w/all the bells and whistles...
On your mark, get set... Go!
Hope she looks a lot better than this by spring... but I still like her, just the way she is.

Kettering, Ohio here.
Don't have any better pics of my Dak as of right now, but this is how it sits currently with a thrashed AX-15 and the 3.9 that will be going into another Dakota soon. I'm hoping to have my 390 LA swap done in the next year or so, but my wife and I just had our second daughter so funds will definitely be tight for awhile.

Hopefully these pics post, first time trying it.

can post a picture tonight.
got a 94 standard 2wd dakota sport with the 3.9L in it from a friend, traded an Asus monitor for it... i tried to start it a week after the initial transaction, and the PCM blew 2 capacitors... so i decided to order a new PCM, and my friend said sinse i had that issue, i didnt owe him anything else... but i think when tax time comes around ill sitll shoot him some money...
its sitting in the garage right now... i have an electric fan kit on the way, and will be installing that in the next week... removing the a/c components and anything else i dont want or need just for a bare bones work communter truck.
kinda going along a rat style... but not wild rat style... basically just going with less is more style....
the truck has 55k original miles on it... its been painted horribly 3 times because i guess it sat under a tree for along time from what my friend says.
after the fan swap... im gonna probably do the ball joints and tie rods. when you try to hold the wheel straight it starts jerking back and forth...
only bad rust spot is the driver's door bottom is pretty rotted... but only like 4 inches or so... theres various other rust spots... but the metal is still pretty solid.
and then probably POR15 the frame... so if you need an a/c component i may have it for you... as well as the vaccum ball for the cruise control.
