Default My Venture Into "Dakota Land"

Well, I've Got 3 Dakotas (more or Less)Though Nothing Special, Just Yet.

1. A '92 Extended Cab LE, 3.9 V6, Automatic (originally a basic "Fixer Upper")
2. A '92 Std Cab, Destines to be powered by a 440 6Pack/Torqueflite Setup.

3. My Dad's '93 Std Cab LE 4X4

Here are pictures of them, as they are now.

'92 Extended Cab

'92 Std Cab "Project 440 6Pack" ;-)

I like the "440 six pack" just curious how much of a drop did you do also did you do it. From one of your pictures from the rear it doesn't look like you added bags to it.

The engine/trans hasn't been put in as of yet. I have the mounts, headers, modified oil pan and pickup tube, to drop the 440/727 Torqueflite in there though. That truck is sitting so low, because the previous owner removed the front springs and stripped the leafs from the rear main springs, while adding lowering blocks to actually have the frame sitting on the differential. I can't swing air bag suspension, but I do want to eventually add spindles and lower the rear as well. I am going to install the power train first, to see how it sits and then decide how much to lower it. Right now, the 440 6Pack Project is sitting in Arkansas and I am in Georgia. Since I have the Extended Cab Dakota LE with me, I am going to be working on That one first. But, as soon as I relocate in Arkansas, THEN, Let The Fun Began. ;-)

I do plan to do a number of pics, as I make progress with this one. One problem I'll have, will be to get TOO anxious to get it to where I can drive The "440 6Pack" version!
